Samsung never sleeps and annually brings to the market a number of smartphones in all price categories. This time we will be talking about the upcoming Galaxy S21 Ultra model, about which we already know something.
Samsung played with the cameras
The top model in the Galaxy S21 series should come with four sensors on the back, two of which should have a telephoto function.
The sammobile.com portal states that the four cameras are similar to those of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The aim of this change is to prevent frequent zooming with a 108-megapixel sensor and thus ensure, in particular, higher quality photos and thus avoid software detail restoration.
The first of the telephoto lenses offer a triple zoom, the second should be able to zoom in more than five times. It should also include a main, 108-megapixel camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 40-megapixel selfie camera. We will not see the TOF of the sensor in this case.
As for the cheaper siblings of the Galaxy S21 series, we can also expect the absence of a TOF sensor. There should be no further fundamental changes.
The battery has not changed
There have been no changes at all in the case of the battery. It comes with a capacity of 4885 mAh, which should be designated as 5000 mAh. According to gsmarena.com, the battery model number is EB-BG998ABY. This confirms that it is the same model that was used for the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
Of course, the battery life will definitely change, as the new models will use Snapdragon and Exynos processors, made by the 5 nm process. This means that in the event of perseverance, we could expect positive changes.
